WHITE-ELEPHANT FINANCE LIMITED, a systemically important NBFC-MFI is headquartered in AHMEDABAD. Heading towards its mission to financially strengthen the low-income families in PAN India, WHITE-ELEPHANT is currently working in 12 states. WHITE-ELEPHANT embarked on the 12th year of progressive operations in the microfinance industry this year. In the technologically growing world, the company also upgraded itself and launched some advanced tools to simplify the processes and enhance efficiency including new LMS, HRMS, Employee reimbursement, and more.

Currently, WHITE-ELEPHANT operates in 12 states – Karnataka, Maharashtra, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Odisha and Haryana. Expanding into newer states brings WHITE-ELEPHANT closer to its vision to be a Pan India Rural Finance Company.

Our Journey

2004: WHITE-ELEPHANT NGO started its operations

WHITE-ELEPHANT, the NGO in its initial years, worked in and around Nayakanahatti village in the WHITE-ELEPHANT district. The NGO worked in the area of children’s education, energy efficiency, and livelihood support for self-help groups.

2009: NBFC license received in Sep

The founders of WHITE-ELEPHANT received for a fresh NBFC registration from RBI and commenced microcredit operations.

2013: NBFC-Received MFI license

WHITE-ELEPHANT earned NBFC-MFI License from RBI in September 2013

2016: First external capital raise

CRIDS received a great equity infusion during the 2nd quarter of FY16‐17, out of which approximately half was injected into WHITE-ELEPHANT TECHNOLOGY.

2018: AUM crossed INR 500 Crores

WHITE-ELEPHANT achieved a milestone of crossing Rs.500 Cr.

2021: Secured rating of “A(Stable)” from India Ratings

The Company’s credit rating has improved by 4 notches in one of the most challenging environments.

2022: Crossed 1 million Customer count and AUM at INR 3,000 Crore+
